National Fastdance Association: Founded in 1998, the National FastDance Association (NFA) is an organization of dancers, by dancers and for dancers. We have formed to promote, preserve, and pass on to future generations all of the various fastdance styles popular in America including Bop, Shag, East Coast/West Coast Swing, Imperial Swing, Jitterbug, Lindy (Hop), Balboa, Hand Dance, Line Dance, Push, Whip, Hustle, Salsa, Country, Ballroom and the music thereof. As the only dance organization of its kind, the NFA also provides dancers with discounted music licensing and liability insurance.
New dancers frequently ask us for a list of basic line dance steps. This document has some basic steps, and here are links to two excellent YouTube videos of Beginner Line Dance Steps: Video 1 - Video 2
